Christie Biggs – Of Counsel
Christie handles trademark clearance, registration, prosecution, filing, maintenance, and enforcement of rights. She also handles licensing, co-existence and consent agreements, and she counsels clients on ways to build and maximize their intellectual property portfolio.
In addition to her trademark expertise, Christie has extensive experience in transactional and commercial contract drafting, review, and negotiation. Christie takes pride in providing her clients with practical and strategic legal advice, and she is committed to providing excellent client service that is tailored to achieve the business objectives of each client.
Staying involved and supporting her local community has always been an important part of Christie’s contributions. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Oceanside Boys and Girls Club, and she is a current board member of Forte for Children, which serves underprivileged youth in North County San Diego.
Christie holds a bachelor’s degree from Chapman University, Orange, CA, graduating with honors, cum laude. Additionally, she holds a Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where she earned numerous awards while in law school including the Jefferson Medal and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Negotiation Theory and Skill. Christie holds a license to practice law in California, including state and federal courts.
